BREATHE OUT... FOR NOW

So- the nuber came back at 1663.

That's a doubling time of 46 hrs from the last beta, and 44 hrs from the first beta. (Or vise vera, I can't remember- I'm tired.)

So- in the clear. For the time being. Because although I don't want to be, I am feeling totally neurotic.

Next Wednesday is the viability scan. I will be 6w, and the nurse said they should see a heartbeat. I thought that would be closer to 7w- can someone help me out with that?

Will try not to obsess too much between now and then.

Thank you all for your kind words and support this week. Wow. You are all so awesome.

Yay! 6 weeks does seem a bit early for a heartbeat. With the fusspot they couldn't see one yet then but had no trouble when I went back a week later. But I think that it really depends on how good their equipment is.

I think I was just 6 weeks and 2 days when we saw Eve's and we were warned that we may or may not see one becuase 7 weeks is the most typical time to have a patient come in. However, I would ask your doc. Hang in there!

I guess it's possible but be prepared to not see it. At least you know that and won't panic if you don't see that little twinkle.

So glad that the numbers came back looking good.

I have my fingers crossed for you!

We saw a heartbeat with K at 6w2d, so it is possible to see one so early. I hope you will see it blinking away next week.

You can see one at six weeks, but *not* seeing one doesn't mean anything final. Then you get to wait in anguish a while longer.

Fingers crossed!
